Reflection upon gazing admiringly at a Cuneo

Theorem:
In order to draw badly properly,
one must first draw properly properly.

Corollary:

If you draw properly badly,
you'll draw badly badly.

I don't know if this proposition is true, but I know that were it taken as true in art schools worldwide, I wouldn't have to be sick as often around the hallowed halls of the Tate modern.

Why It is pointless to preach linelessness

-Heed my warning: paint no lines, for there are no lines in Nature!

-Your advice is pointless, for my canvas is lineless.

-But you have painted a line: there it is!

-That which you point to must surely not be a line. For if there are no lines in Nature, how could there be one on my canvas?
